with Meadow Gold milk, Krispy Kreme doughnuts and fun & educational books
and kits. The party included country swing dancing and a grammar
showdown!

National Start Walking Day


Mrs. Idaho International, Brenda Mee, kicked off "National Start
Walking Day" April 16th with a radio interview featuring Sarah Freeman of the
American Heart Association and Paul Powell CFO of Intermountain Gas
and this year's chairperson of the Treasure Valley's Heart Walk on May
31st.

Mrs. Idaho International 2008, Brenda Mee had the opportunity to
interview Mrs. Idaho International 2004, Rebecca Evans on KIZN. Rebecca will
be one of the keynote speakers at the "Today's Woman Expo" at Expo
Idaho May 31st. Rebecca Evans is a wife/mother/decorated Gulf War veteran
as well as being motivational speaker and author!

The Idaho International Queens had a chance for a "Girl" day, at a photo shoot. On the home at the airport they met new friends, even a man from Australia.

Brenda Mee had the change to return to the Mrs. Idaho America Pageant on April 12th. As former Mrs. Idaho America 2000 and current Mrs. Idaho International 2008. On KIZN 92.3 Mrs. Idaho International 2008, Brenda Mee interviewed Mrs.
Idaho America 2007 Lauralynn Salinas. The interview was bittersweet
as it was the last official public appearance for Lauralynn before she
crowned her successor the following day.

Each week Kevin and Brenda visit an elementary school. Students email
entries to Kissin 92 and the winning class gets fun educational books
and activity kits, Meadow Gold milk and Krispy Kreme donuts (which are
now a healthier snack as they are transfat free!)
